Crew lead

A crew lead is a working team member who runs check-in, briefs the crew on the site rules, dress code and tasks, and serves as the client's single point of contact during the shift. The lead reports problems to dispatch, confirms headcount and helps the client sign off hours. Crew leads do not replace the client's supervisor, who still directs the work. A common rule of thumb is to add a lead once a crew reaches roughly ten people, or sooner for spread-out sites.
